Chess coach

Nikolay Kovshun teaches chess to both children from age five and adults. He conducts group classes and provides individual lessons in Russian, Latvian and English.

Nikolay Kovshun is a graduate of Riga Chess School, a Candidate Master in chess, a FIDE (international chess governing body) trainer and a chess coach with over 10 years of professional experience.

Nikolay Kovshun’s trainees regularly take part in regional and international chess-related events and earn prestigious awards.

Sunday:

  • 10:00 – 11:25 — beginners
  • 11:30 – 12:55 — ranked chess players
  • 13:00 – 14:25 — 2 classes and higher

  • 16:40 – 18:05 — ranked chess players
